Our Mission: The mission of our Centre County Partnership for Community Health is to support an inclusive, caring community that promotes healthy people and enhances quality of life through collaborative relationships.
Our Guiding Objective: To assess the health needs of Centre County residents and to develop outreach and partnering efforts that will bridge gaps in service and eliminate barriers to holistic health.
How to use this site
The Centre County Partnership for Community Health has provided this site as part of a Pennsylvania state grant. This site is intended to assist health professionals by providing access to health statistics in a convenient manner. Data contained within this site may be freely copied and used in proposals, grant writing, etc. Note: this site also provides links to sites that contain primary data which may have some usage restrictions. Users are cautioned to check the usability of any data accessed on sites other than partnersforhealth.org.
On the home page (as well as this one) you will find a button that accesses the Centre County Community Profile....an overview of Centre County from a health professional's perspective.
Also on the home page, below the Community Profile button you will find a list of Heath Statistics Data links. Each of these links will present a page that shows web sites that will provide data on the specific category. On each Health Statistics Data page you will find a button that will present an overview of relevant data for that category for Centre County. Data presented in the overviews can be found in the data links presented within that category. For each data link, the "click to view" button will take you to the site described by the text. The right-most column for each entry shows the agency or organization that provids the data along with a link to their home page.
